Jade egg exercises for radiant wellness

Our bodies are such beautiful, potent landscapes for healing and vitality. Unfortunately, over time, women have lost access to word of mouth wisdom, passed down from generation to generation, as to how to unlock these many keys we hold inside of ourselves. Now, thank goodness, much of these sacred self-care secrets are becoming much more well known and practiced again globally. The jade egg practice, as you will or may already be learning, is one of these ancient arts of self-care and holistic wellness.

Many are aware that there are “ley lines”, meridians, or energetic grids all over our bodies, connecting one part to the other. This is part of why massage, healing touch and bodywork is so important for health. Each body part connects to another and so something like acupressure or massage stimulates our vital organs to respond and give us a boost when needed. An example that one can look up to understand this concept more fully, is foot reflexology massage. If we map out the bottoms of our feet, we can correlate each area of the foot to a major organ inside the body and see that massaging the lower part of our foot arches stimulates, say, the intestines.

Our inner and outer yoni (vagina) landscape works the same way! Our vaginal walls are connected and stimulate the health or our lungs, our spleen, heart, liver, etcetera. When we are practicing with our jade egg or yoni egg, we are literally massaging and exercising these meridians with energy keeping, powerful crystals. Whether we wear our yoni egg for a long period of time, a short amount of time, or overnight, we are offering our bodies regeneration and massage on all of these important points, almost effortlessly.

Yoni eggs

To exercise with your jade egg or yoni egg, begin with a gentle insertion while practicing pulling in your egg with your yoni opening muscles, as explained in the introduction guide or on the home page. Once you have your egg in comfortably, sit for a few minutes quietly, feeling or maybe not feeling your egg. Practice contracting muscles that you can feel and work with. This may begin as only working with your vaginal opening, or a little higher. Squeeze your muscles and then let go of them, carefully so as to not over do it, but enough that you can feel the work your body is doing. As you continue to have these practice sessions with yourself, you WILL gain more control over muscles higher and higher up! We have three muscle bands inside of our vaginal canal- and the majority of us are aware of one- the vaginal opening. The two other muscle bands are deeper in the canal of our yoni, and your jade egg practice brings awareness of these muscle bands. Basically, much like the “Kegel” exercises most of us are aware of, we can pull our egg, eventually, up higher and higher, and release the egg as low as we’d like, and gradually refine this exercise to a pretty advanced state, over time. To begin, a twenty minute per day practice time with these exercises is recommended to increase control, muscle strength and for general radiant wellness.

These power spots are meridian points, stimulating the vital organs as explained above. So not only are you rejuvenating the tissues, muscles and health of your beautiful healthy yoni, but you are also offering “chi” or energy to your organs and overall health & wellbeing. Jadeegg.com is so grateful to offer this sacred tool for women’s health and wellness, and the more we learn about the benefits of this ancient practice the more fascinated we become! We hope you continue to find inspiration as well, nourishing yourself with this beautiful practice.
