The jade egg practice is a dynamic, powerful teacher and ally in all of our daily practices. One of the most awakening aspects of the jade egg practice is the awareness of being more grounded and present in the body. What a gift this practice is for a woman giving herself time for yoga and/or meditation, as a sort of anchoring reminder to stay present. As we strengthen the ability of the mind to let go and the body to be the seat of our spirit, so within we can also strengthen the container of our feminine creative life force. We allow the egg to move the energetic stories we have held for us, leaving present radiant awareness that can only expand and grow by taking the time to nourish our true essence.
Many styles of meditation encourage one to scan the body continuously while being present with the breath. The jade egg can greatly assist us in this present moment awareness by keeping us activated, gently, and centered in the body. We literally will drop the egg when not being fully present and engaged in the body, and this is the beauty of being with our jade egg while sitting. The mind may wander, and come back to the moment, and wander again. Wearing our jade egg or yoni egg creates a gentle reminder to ground into self as we watch the thoughts that flow in and out, and be aware of our Self as an observer. As consciously as we can feel and be with our yoni egg, so we can be focused, yet resting, in the now. Open, curious, fluid presence divinely balanced and without attachment to the past or the future. This awareness is a beautiful gift, always available to you.
In yoga, the jade egg practice heightens our awareness of the inner feminine landscape, both in a physical sense and energetically. The grounding effects of yoni eggs pair beautifully with yoga practices. Whether you practice a more Yin or restorative style yoga, or a bit more active Hatha type yoga, your yoni egg is a beautiful addition to your time on the mat. While wearing your egg, you are literally doing yoga for your yoni (vagina). As you let your breath guide you and your body into expansion and contraction, so too can you be aware of the inner body mirroring this same radiant dance. Yoga is such a powerful way to strengthen our physical vessel as a temple, and adding your jade egg practice only heightens and elevates the experience!
We love what we do, and all of the ways that the jade egg and gemstone yoni eggs can revitalize and bring grounded flow to our lives! Be well, and thank you for the many ways you nourish yourself.
* Small - The smaller the egg, the more challenging it is to hold and will require more advanced practice and muscle awareness.
* Medium - Recommended for beginners
* Large - The large egg will be easier to hold, for someone that is healing incontinence, prolapse or perhaps postmenopausal.
